Our dishwasher cleans perfectly. It is quiet .Incredibly quiet. The heat crystals are MAGIC! My dishes-coffee cups and glassware AND silverware are sanitized! I love the silverware tray on top-so convienient. The 800 series is worth every penny we paid for it. BOSCH is our go-to dishwasher!

Overall I am happy with this purchase. The unit very quiet and looks really good. Also, it cleans and dries well.
I knew going in that there would be a learning curve on how to load this dishwasher.
I am getting used to the upper utensil rack-and I like it.
I love the configuration of the bottom rack. It was actually why we selected the Bosch over other brands and I am really happy with it.
But I do have a few issues:
The center rack does not hold as much as my previous DW and the configuration is weird. On the left side, the space for loading glasses is smaller than the on the right side, so many of our cups, mugs and glasses do not fit.
Also, there is no logical way to load bowls in the middle rack-you just have to lay them down in the center area. There are no tongs to hold them up and separate them.
The biggest issue though is that, because the dishwasher is so well sealed, it STINKS. I asked a friend who also has a Bosch (in case it was just ours) and hers stinks too.
So I devised a contraption to keep the unit upen slightly when not in use and that has solved the problem. But now the unit does not look as sleek because you can see the control panel. I guess it is the lesser of 2 evils.
Overall-because I like the quiet and I love the bottom rack, I am glad we made the purchase.
I do think the smell issue should be addressed.

I love this dishwasher. I've had it for about two months now. It is soooo quiet. It is installed in a center of the room island and you barely ever hear even a slight swishing sound.
My dishes come out clean and dry. The top rack is new for me and I love it. It's perfect for cup lids, spatulas, etc and it's adjustable. The rack below is adjustable too in case you have a taller glass that need to fit in underneath the top rack.

I love my Bosch dishwasher for everything but the silverware container. My knives and some fork'sdo not fit inside and it's frustrating. I love that it dries my plastics, it's super quiet and cleans my dishes well, but that silverware tray is a nuisance and I wish there was a replacement for it.

The dishwasher is quiet, has more room than my 25 year old Bosch, cleans really well... however... the utensil basket is a different story. It is too thin, too small, and doesn't stay hooked on the sides. I even purchased a second basket from Bosch to accommodate more utensils but I still don't like the function. Many pieces are now coming out of the dishwasher with rust spots, which has never happened with my old one. I saved the basket from my old machine but sadly it doesn't fit anywhere in this one. You can't "pick up the basket and go". I can only assume this new configuration was designed by someone who does not load or empty dishwashers at their own home. If a few rows of tines were able to lie completely flat I could have used my old basket. This is my only complaint... otherwise I really like the machine.

Our old washer was on it's last leg after several repairs and internal racks wearing out we needed a more reliable unit. We run it every night and Bosch is the go to for reliability. This unit works great and gets our plastic dishes dry. I am looking forward to a stronger washer.

I bought this dishwasher based on the salesperson saying that it was amazing...It would dry all of the dishes and there is plenty of room to load the dishwasher with a lot of different kinds of dishes. First of all, there is not enough room for utisels. Sure you can use the top rack for extra space but really, there should be room for more than a few forks and spoons. There are only two people in my household and we have to run the dishwasher twice as often because there isn't enough space for dishes due to the weird layout and there is only one small basket for forks and spoons. This would be irritating but doable and would be our mistake for not thinking things through but the worst issue is that the dishes do not get dried. We have our dishwasher set on Santitize and the Crystal setting and have rinse aid in the dispenser and after each washing, I need to pull out the dishes and rinse and hand dry them. This is an awful dishwasher and a complete waste of money! Do not buy Bosch...go with another company.

I loved our first Bosch dishwasher for over 15 years. It loaded in a way that made perfect sense to me. Our 2nd one is just not as user friendly to me although I'm sure I'll get used to the changes. I don't care for that 3rd rack at the top & the direction of dishes seem off to me. But I still love Bosch!

We had been waiting for a valid reason to get rid of the dishwasher that was already in the house when we bought it back in 2021. We are very happy and satisfied with our decision to get this Bosch one. So much nicer. So much quieter. So much cleaner. And connected to WiFi so we can get alerts when done and run a delayed wash overnight. And we love the "droppable" middle rack. So glad we got this model

This Bosch dishwasher was easy to install. All connections are on the back, not underneath. I also liked that the two front legs and one center rear leg were adjustable from up front. This made it easy to level. This unit has Crystal Dry and it works better than expected. Of course it is quite, too.

Been jealous of my friends and family who owned Bosch dishwashers for some time now. While it was a poorly timed, unfortunate circumstances of events that led to this purchase, I couldn't be happier! Comparison vs our old 800 Series:
Pros: At least as quiet if not more so. Crystal Dry works better. Light on the door is better than floor light.
Cons: They removed one of the vertical supports on the middle rack so it doesn't hold as much. The unit turns off 10 minutes after completing a cycle so the "Clean" light goes out - you have to remember whether you ran it.

I bought this dishwasher after extensive research. Getting it hooked to my Wi-Fi was not bad. I didn't think I would use many of the Wi-Fi enabled features but it did help with adjusting my settings easier. I am blown away with how quiet it is. Even standing next to the machine, I can barely hear it running. I.am thankful that there is a light that turns on while washing. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. Also accessories are not to expensive.

I don't understand why there is no clean/dirty end of cycle indication, Bosch has had the red/green Timelight functionality, or projected time remaining display for years, why eliminate it now? Not all kitchen users will have the app/online status. This is an 800 series after all.

I needed to buy a pocket door dishwasher for my remodeled kitchen so I chose a Bosch since I was happy with my last one. The new one has some features which I'm not really happy about. One of the worst features is the door slams closed if you don't open it at least half way. Which is inconvenient since I usually only open it 1/3 of the way to put silverware or small items in the top two trays. My old Bosch stayed open no matter where I left the door. This door has nearly slammed on my hand a couple of times. Also, the dishwasher was not coming close to drying my dishes even with the crystal drying feature. I'd open up the door and there would be moisture everywhere. I finally had to to turn on the sanitation cycle and go on their app and extend the drying time. That finally worked, but it defeats the purpose of energy consumption when it takes 2 hours to finish.

This new 800 series dishwasher is a step down in quality and features over my previous Bosch (which was previously a 500 or 300 series I think). Annoyances:
1) it comes with a tiny silverware basket -- half the length of every previous dishwasher I've ever owned.
2) It arrived with a missing back foot leveling screw
3) The controls have been flakey. It refused to connect to wifi/HomeConnect until I did a factory reset.
4) Basic functions like delayed start are no longer available on the unit itself. You have to use the app to complete such operations.
Very disappointed with this model!

I have been a huge Bosch fan for a while. My new 800 series dishwasher has been somewhat of a disappointment. Hard to set controls, dishwasher starts and then quits 15 minutes later, never will do a full cycle on "Auto", leaves a soapy feeling on dishes, and when it does finally do a full cycle, it does not dry the dishes very well.
Our previous Bosch Dishwasher was excellent, easy to start, very clean dishes, and the dishes were very dry when done.
We are trying to be happy, but it's been a disappointing start to this 800 series.

A replacement for my 23 year old Asko for which I was unable to secure local repair. I live in a very rural area and this was my only alternative. It works well but somewhat difficult to operate. It's as quiet as the Asko it replaces. It does a decent job but a few items were not completely cleaned. I have a dark kitchen and no interior light prevents me from seeing the complete interior. The best part is ever I need service there's an available repair provided by the dealer.

This is the most quiet dishwasher I've ever owned. It does a great job of getting everything really clean and sparkling. My only complaint is there is no indication that the dishes are clean. Most dishwashers will show 'clean' once the dishwasher is done running.

We had a Bosch 500 series for years and were very pleased with how quiet it ran, the awesome 3rd rack and how well it cleaned the dishes. We recently purchased an 800 series. It washes well, runs a little quieter than our old one an has that 3rd rack I now cannot do without. If I had to buy it all over again I really don't think I would. The little aggravation is the 1 janky silverware basket that now comes with it. The tops of the basket don't provide enough spaces for all of your silverware if you have a big family or wait until your dishwasher is full to run it. (They also seem to let your silverware fall around willy nilly.) If you open and don't use the 'tops' of the basket the silverware basket is so short not all of the silverware will stay in place. You may not have room in the very top rack to put the additional silverware. My plan is to buy 2 new silverware baskets that are not made by Bosch. (I wish I would have kept my old ones.). The 2nd thing that really makes me regret purchasing this dishwasher is that even though we leveled up and bought a nicer dishwasher with more options, we don't have access to all of those options unless we connect our dishwasher to wifi. The very basic options are available on the dishwasher itself but the extra options we were looking forward to are only available through the app - you cannot use the app without connecting your dishwasher to the internet and cloud. Ridiculous. There is now a blinking red light for 'machine care' and you're supposed to use their special detergent and use the machine care cycle to disinfect the dishwasher. Not a bad idea, but the there is no machine care button on my 800 dishwasher. It's on the app. I guess it will be blinking for the next 7-10 years - if I can handle it that long. SO VERY FRUSTRATING.

We recently purchased the 800 Series dishwasher from Bosch. We have been happy with the product from the ease of install to the quality of the clean. The crystal dry system leaves our dishes super clean and ready to put away immediately. We were a bit put off by the need to connect the unit to a phone to access all the features, but we do appreciate the alert on the phone when the dishwasher is done. We also appreciate the third rack but have found loading the dishwasher to be a bit of a challenge as the rack configuration is quite different from our last unit. Overall, the Bosch is a great dishwasher.
