I received this dishwasher for free in return for my honest review. This dishwasher is everything a good dishwasher should be: quiet, cleans well, easy to use. Unlike the current trend in appliances, this machine is first and foremost a dishwasher, not a high tech gimmick with a dishwashing function. You can customize a lot of things with the Bosch Home Connect app, but it is not required. It runs like a dream straight out of the box. One of my favorite features is that in addition to the two standard racks, this dishwasher has a top third rack for cutlery, which saves a lot of precious space for more dishes. And without a heating element at the bottom, the flexibility to put plastics anywhere is a huge win. We recently moved and had to leave behind our Bosch 500 series dishwasher, and we missed it so much until we got this one. Based on my experience, I honestly don't know why anyone would choose another brand. The one feature that I wish it had is the auto-open from the 500 series, but if that's not important to you or if the 500 series is not in your budget, this model is a fantastic choice. Plus, its simple and sleek profile looks great. You can count on it to reliably clean your dishes, which at the end of the day, is exactly what you want.

I've been really happy with my Bosch 300 Series dishwasher overall. The design looks great, and the concealed controls give it a very sleek, clean appearance in the kitchen.
This is my first dishwasher with a third rack, and I've found it incredibly convenient for cooking utensils, lids, and smaller items that used to take up awkward space elsewhere. Most importantly, it does a great job cleaning dishes. I used to rinse a lot of plates before loading them, but with this dishwasher I've found that really isn't necessary.
I do prefer using the Extra Dry feature, which works well, although I've noticed that I need to refill the rinse aid more frequently. The app is also a very convenient feature, especially the remote start option for nights when I forget to run the dishwasher before getting into bed.
Overall, this has been a great dishwasher with excellent cleaning performance, a sharp look, and some really useful convenience features.

The dishwasher sticks out half an inch below my counter top. This looks bad and seems like it will be messy to clean up when we spill stuff.

We almost didn't purchase a 2nd Bosch. Our first one was possibly defective, never fully seemed to work to the Bosch potential. After lookjng at several other dishwashers we decided to try Bosch again, hopefully the first experience was random. We like the stainless tub, and bottom line, Bosch has a good reputation. My mom has one, my boss has one. Hoping this new one is a winner

We received a call from the delivery person letting us know when they would be able to deliver the Bosch 300. In the morning of the delivery, I cleared the path to the kitchen. The delivery person pulled up to the driveway and brought the dishwasher just inside the kitchen. I unpacked the dishwasher, being careful not to throw away anything until I completely finished the installation. I followed the clear instructions and started the installation. All said, it took about 1 hour to install, I just took my time. One surprising thing I saw was that Bosch does not wrap this dishwasher with the same type of insulation we had had before, yet it is sooo quiet.
Loading the dishwasher was a breeze, I felt there was so much room compared with my older device. Two things stood out right away. One was the third tray which I use for irregular utensils (i.e. long knives, measuring cups, and ladle). The second is what Bosch calls Zone Wash, which is a short powerful sprayer on the bottom left corner of the dishwasher. Reading the instructions, this area is were you would place any burnt pot/pan so it can be properly cleaned.
I ran a full dishwasher and the next morning I unload everything with not single plate or cutlery needing a second wash. This is awesome and time saver. I don't have to rinse before I put anything in the dishwasher, the glasses, plates, knifes, forks and spoons, come out clean the first time. I don't have to wash anything by hand anymore. The dishwasher is working as it was intended, it washes the dishes!!!!

Silverware tray was tiny; needed to buy an adequate sized.one on Amazon. One entire line of tines on the middle rack was deleted from this model as compared to the same Bosch model we bought 12 years ago.

I am disapointed with this dishwasher. Even using a drying agent my dishes are not dry. Also the silerware basket is tiny so the silverware is packed in and doesn't get clean. I also find there is less room to load dishes because of the configuration of the racks. The one major advantage is the quietnes when the machine runs.

This dishwasher is quiet, relatively quick, and leaves our dishes clean. I had read about the drying being a potential issue with this line, but it's not been a problem since we adoped the "Extra Dry" setting, and it was only ever noticeable on plastic items. We absolutely love the very top row cutler holder - in fact, we've taken out the cutler basket from the bottom drawer and use that space now for extra dishes or pots.

This is a fantastic dishwasher. There are so many great features, but I will highlight a few that I think set it apart. First, it is incredibly quiet - to the point where I sometimes can't even tell it's running. Fortunately, there is an indicator light that shines onto the floor while it's running - another neat and unexpected feature.
This dishwasher has a third rack for utensils, and there is also a traditional utensil holder in the first rack, so it holds a lot. With my old dishwasher, I was always running out of room and filling up the utensil holder long before I could fill the rest of the dishwasher, which meant running pretty inefficient loads. Not an issue anymore!
I was initially skeptical about using the app, but I was curious and decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did; it has become one of my favorite things about the dishwasher! I like that I can customize options based on what I've actually put in the dishwasher. The "zone wash" is a really nice feature when I have a pot or dish that needs some extra attention, but I don't necessarily want to subject the entire load to a more intense washing. Since the app also tells you the estimated run time and at what time the cycle will finish, it's super convenient to plan when to run it. Overall, the wash cycles take much less time than my previous dishwasher, without sacrificing cleanliness.
It really has everything I could want in a dishwasher, and I continue to discover new little things all the time that reinforce how much I love it. It may sound weird to be so excited about an appliance, but it's something I use every day so I want it to be just right!
Bottom line: I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone who is looking for one that is super quiet, customizable and efficient.

First experience with the flatware top rack and it is helpful in my opinion. This gives a nice option and not only makes the flatware easier to clean because they are not crammed in a basket but also makes it easier to organize my forks, knives and spoons. A flatware basket is available and we use it in combination with the top rack for odd or large shaped utensils.
I initially was confused about how to start the dw. Once I learned this and became now more familiar, I find using the dishwasher simple and clear. The dw is extremely quiet and the dishes come out spotless, clean AND dry! The dishwasher is balanced and operates with ease. I appreciate the ease of use and the efficiency of its main duty...washing dishes!
